Join us for a moment of meditation, courtesy of Lincoln. The third-generation Nautilus is designed to be a sanctuary, featuring “Lincoln Rejuvenate,” which provides a spa-like experience for its owners. Unfortunately, this rejuvenating experience can only be fully appreciated from behind the wheel—just like in our year-long review of the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label. So, take the next five minutes to immerse yourself in what we saw, felt, heard, and even smelled.

A Quick Refresher
The 2025 Nautilus features a 48-inch screen spanning the width of the vehicle, positioned just above the dashboard at the base of the windshield to avoid obstructing the driver’s view. A separate touchscreen provides controls for the vehicle and various apps, including the Rejuvenate app. While the full effect is best experienced from the driver’s seat, the show will continue even if the seat is empty—though it will stop if the passenger door is opened.
When you activate Rejuvenate, the system reminds you that the engine will be running and advises parking outside before proceeding. It also informs you that the session lasts five minutes.
Step One: Relax
The first half of the experience focuses on relaxation, followed by rejuvenation. As the session begins:
- The screens display calming waterscapes, with bubbles gently rising.
- The steering wheel retracts, and the driver’s seat reclines, initiating a soothing massage with alternating pulses.
- The seat heaters activate, while the air vents rotate slightly, circulating air at a gentle, comfortable temperature.
- A subtle floral or earthy scent diffuses into the cabin.
- The ambient lighting becomes warm and inviting.
- Soft instrumental music blends with the sound of water bubbles.
After a short time, the scene transforms—soil rises above the water, and plants begin to sprout. You can hear the trees breaking through the soil and watch the foliage expand and grow taller.

Time to Rejuvenate
The sun gradually brightens before fading into night—marking the transition into the Rejuvenation phase. Now:
- The seats adjust from fully reclined to semi-reclined.
- The heating switches off, replaced by ventilation.
- The massage mode changes to invigorating pulses running from the neck to the tailbone.
- The air cools down, and the vents oscillate up and down instead of side to side.
- The lighting becomes sharper, and the screen fills with embers against a dark sky, accompanied by the sound of crackling flames.
- The embers morph into Chinese lanterns, floating upward—a symbolic representation of hope.
The session ends somewhat abruptly, as the driver’s seat returns to an upright position and the screen reverts to a water scene.
Hokey or Impressive?
The graphics are exceptionally sharp, and the animations feel lifelike and vibrant. The sound is crisp and immersive, thanks to the Nautilus’ 28-speaker Revel Ultima system. The seats are incredibly comfortable, and the massage features offer genuine relaxation.
Lincoln offers several factory-fitted scents, including:
- Violet Cashmere (floral with violet notes)
- Ozonic Azure (a floral blend with a spicy undertone)
- Mystic Forest (an earthy, nature-inspired aroma)
- Auto-theme selection (currently offering seven scent options)
The scent cartridges are neatly stored in a magnetized compartment within the center console. Even on high intensity, the fragrance is subtle—but opening the console enhances the aroma, proving the system works.
Overall, Lincoln Rejuvenate is a fun and unique experience—a feature worth showing off to your neighbors. It comes standard on the top trims (Reserve III and Black Label) for 2025 and will be available across all Nautilus trims in 2026. This aligns with Lincoln’s quiet luxury philosophy, though it might be a tough sell if it were a standalone, extra-cost feature.
That said, how often will people actually spend five minutes running the app in their driveway? While it may not become a daily habit, we can see it being useful during long road trips or while waiting for a child to finish soccer practice. And let’s be honest—it’s probably healthier than doom-scrolling on your phone.
